The Bourgas clock was positioned here at the beginning of the 20-century.
At first it marked the space in front of the old municipality building,
which was demolished in the 1930’s. Until 1985 the clock was standing
on a beautiful corner building between the streets “Bogoridi” and “Aleksandrovska”.
During
the 1990’s the old clock became part of a sculptural composition of the
artist Kolyo Kehayov, which today is one of the most popular symbols of
Bourgas, a favorite place for meetings, concerts and city festivities.
